My Mum Compares

It drives me crazy when my mum compares me to her friends daughters. "She can act, she can play the piano, she can sow. Why can you be like her?" Maybe because I don't won't to. I also play the piano, but she's on a higher level. I also act, but she gets the lead in plays. I also sow, but she made dress and has a portfolio. I could right a whole book about this, but I don't have time. ~Arabelle Akinfe

I think I'm Cinderella

I think I'm Cinderella. That's a sentence I thought I'll never say. Lately my mum has been calling my name a lot . Usually she'll call me about twice or three times a day, but now she calls me about million times in a day. You might as well put a bell around my neck and get me a maids outfit. I feel sorry for my sister, who my mum has obviously  forgotten about, cause I haven't been hearing her in a while. So say hello to the new Cinderella, Arabelle. ~Arabelle

Bullying with Taylor Swift

I think I'm getting bullied by my very own sister. Everyday she hurts me in different ways. I've read all about bullying and most of the books say to stand up to the bully, but with a Nigeria mum, you should respect your eldest. Which really means 'let her bully you and don't do anything back' I keep making her listen to 'Mean' by Taylor Swift hoping it will make her stop. ~Arabelle Akinfe

Fighting

Its so annoying when my mum and my sister, Ashleigh, fight. Why? I'm that 'good' child that my mum finally remembers when she's angry with Ashleigh. Being mothers good child includes:  -Making her tea every hour of the day -Getting her stuff that are right next to her -Being called to her room every minute to say 'I love you' and other stuff like that. And that's why I hate it when they fight. ~Arabelle Akinfe
